Welcome to PROTAGE

PROTAGE is a research project (STREP) in the seventh framework programme. The name PROTAGE is an acronym for PReservation Organizations using Tools in AGent Environments.

The PROTAGE website

On this website you will find information about the project and its partners. All public deliverables from the project will also be available here together with live demonstrations and experimental results, presentation slides from conferences, press releases etc.
Furthermore, the ambition is to provide information on research results in the field of digital preservation as well as information about international projects, initiatives, and conferences, that are of relevance for the PROTAGE sphere of activities.

The Lab

Here, it should soon be possible to take part of live demonstrations and experimental results from PROTAGE. The Lab will be built up gradually, following the pace of work in the project.

Scenarios

Following the link, you will find user-oriented scenarios constructed to illustrate challenges and opportunities on the use of agent technology in digital preservation. If you can come up with scenarios that better fits your reality as a producer, curator or user of digital preservation objects, please contact us. You find information on how to do it under Contact.
